Ever found yourself at a live event, hands deep in your bag, fishing out your phone to capture that perfect moment, only to be met with a stern look from the security guard? It's happened to the best of us. But fear not, event-goers! Lucas Oil Stadium has heard our cries and introduced a new, fan-friendly Clear Bag Policy.
What's the Deal with the Clear Bag?
The policy, inspired by similar initiatives in sports venues across the nation, aims to enhance safety and security while ensuring a smooth entry process. It's all about making your game day experience as hassle-free as possible.
So, what does it mean for you? In a nutshell, you'll need to leave your oversized purses, backpacks, and diaper bags at home. Instead, opt for a clear bag, no bigger than 12" x 6" x 12", or a small clutch that's no larger than 4.5" x 6.5".

But Wait, What if I Need to Bring More?
Don't worry, you can still bring in necessary items like phones, keys, wallets, and even binoculars. They just need to be in a clear bag or carried loosely. And the best part? You can still bring in your favorite team jersey - no need to change your game day style!
Now, you might be thinking, "This sounds like a lot of change. How am I supposed to remember all this?" Well, let us help you out with a little cheat sheet:
- Clear bag - 12" x 6" x 12" or smaller
- Clutch - 4.5" x 6.5" or smaller
- No backpacks, large purses, or diaper bags
- Yes to phones, keys, wallets, and binoculars
Why the Change?
You might be wondering why the sudden shift in policy. Well, it's all about keeping you safe and sound while you enjoy the game. Similar policies have been implemented in venues like the Super Bowl and the College World Series, with great success.
Think of it like this: clear bags mean quicker entry, less time spent in lines, and more time spent cheering on your team. Plus, it's one less thing to worry about on game day. And who doesn't love a good stress-free day?

But What About My Team Spirit?
Fear not, fellow fans! Just because your bag needs to be clear doesn't mean your spirit has to be. You can still rock your team colors, paint your face, and wave your foam finger with pride. In fact, we encourage it!
And if you're really feeling the spirit, why not make a day of it? Tailgate with your friends, snap some photos at the Lucas Oil Plaza, and soak up the electric atmosphere. After all, it's not just about the game - it's about the experience.
Reflecting on the Change
So, there you have it - the lowdown on Lucas Oil's new Clear Bag Policy. It might seem like a small change, but it's all about making your game day experience the best it can be. After all, isn't that what we all want?
Think about it - whether it's a Colts game, a concert, or a monster truck rally, we're all there for the same reason. To enjoy, to cheer, to be a part of something bigger. And if a clear bag helps make that experience just a little bit better, well, that's something worth cheering about.
