State Fair Bag Policy 2021

Hey there, fair fanatics! You know what's just around the corner? That's right, the State Fair! And you know what's also around the corner? The Bag Policy update for 2021. Don't worry, we're not about to bore you with a stuffy, formal rundown. We're here to chat about it, just like we would over a funnel cake (mmm, funnel cake).

So, What's New?

Alright, let's dive in. First things first, the fair wants to make sure everyone's safe and sound. That's why they've tightened up the bag policy a bit. Now, don't go panicking, it's not as scary as it sounds. It's more like they're saying, "Hey, let's keep it real. No sneaking in a whole extra fair day's worth of food, yeah?"

Here's the deal: clear bags are in, and backpacks are out. Well, not completely out. They're just taking a little break, you know, like when you've had one too many corn dogs.

Clear Bags: The New Fair Fashion Statement

So, what does that mean for you, you ask? It means it's time to dust off your clear purse or bag. You know, the one you used for that concert last summer. Or maybe you'll finally have an excuse to buy that cute, clear crossbody bag you've had your eye on. Either way, it's time to embrace your inner fashionista and go clear!

But what if you don't have a clear bag? Well, don't you worry. The fair's got you covered. They'll have clear bag holders available for purchase at the entrance. It's like they're saying, "No bag? No problem!"

But What About My Stuff?

Now, you might be thinking, "Great, but what about all my stuff? I can't exactly fit my whole life in a clear bag." Well, fear not, fair-goer! The fair's thought of that too. You can still bring in your essentials, like your wallet, phone, and keys. Just make sure they're not in a bag that's not clear.

And what about those diapers, wipes, and other baby essentials? Or your medication? You can still bring those in, too. Just make sure they're in a small, clear bag or a plastic, zip-top bag. You know, the kind you'd use to freeze your leftovers. Not that you'd ever have leftovers after a day at the fair, right?

Some Things Never Change

Now, you might be wondering, "What about my favorite fair snacks? Do I have to leave them at the gate?" The answer is a resounding no! You can still bring in your empty bottles of water, and you can fill them up at the free water stations inside. And let's not forget about the fair food! You can still indulge in all the fried, sugary goodness your heart desires. Just maybe not too much, yeah?
