State Fair Bag Policy 2022

Hey there, fair fans! You know what's just around the corner? The State Fair, that's what! And you know what's always a hot topic? The bag policy. So, let's dive in, shall we?

What's New in 2022?

You might be wondering, "What's changed since last year?" Well, grab a funnel cake and let's find out!

First off, the fair has relaxed its rules a bit. Remember the days when you could only bring in a tiny little purse? Those are so last decade! Now, you can bring in a larger bag, as long as it's not bigger than 16" x 16" x 8". That's about the size of a small backpack, folks!

But here's the kicker - no coolers or hard-sided containers. Sorry, picnic enthusiasts. The fair wants to keep things fair (pun intended), so they're asking everyone to leave their big coolers at home.

What Can I Bring?

Now, you're probably thinking, "Okay, but what can I actually bring?" Great question!

Here's a quick rundown:

• Bags that are 16" x 16" x 8" or smaller
• Clear plastic bags (like the ones you get at the grocery store)
• Small clutch purses

And here's a fun fact - if you're bringing in a bag to carry your essentials, it'll be searched. But don't worry, it's quick and painless. It's just the fair's way of making sure everyone feels safe and secure.

What About Medically Necessary Items?

Got a medical condition that requires you to bring in some special gear? No worries! The fair has you covered.

Just make sure your medically necessary items are in a clear plastic bag, and you're good to go. And remember, the fair's staff is there to help, so if you have any questions, just ask!

Why the Change?

You might be wondering why the fair changed its bag policy. Well, it's all about keeping things safe and secure. The fair wants everyone to have a blast, but they also want to make sure everyone feels safe while they're there.

So, next time you're at the fair, remember that the bag policy is there to keep things fun and secure for everyone. And hey, it's not so bad - you can still bring in all your essentials, just in a slightly smaller bag!

And there you have it, folks! The State Fair Bag Policy 2022, demystified. Now go forth, enjoy the fair, and remember - the bigger the bag, the more funnel cakes you can bring in. (Just kidding... or am I?)
