Rupp Arena Bag Policy 2023

Rupp Arena Bag Policy 2023: Let's Talk Bags, Baby!

Hey there, Wildcat fans! We know you're eager to dive into another thrilling season at Rupp Arena, but before you grab your seat, let's chat about the bag policy for 2023. Don't worry, it's not as boring as it sounds. We promise to keep it fun and informative, just like a good old game of cat and mouse with the refs.

So, What's the Scoop?

First things first, Rupp Arena has gone bag-friendly, but with a twist. They're all about keeping things safe and secure, so they've introduced a clear bag policy. Think of it as a see-through fashion statement that's as practical as it is stylish.

Here's the lowdown: Bags must be clear and no larger than 12" x 6" x 12". You can choose from a one-gallon plastic freezer bag (the kind you use for your leftovers, not your goldfish), or a 12" x 6" x 12" clear bag with no more than one logo per side.

But Wait, There's More!

Now, you might be thinking, "What about my trusty old purse or backpack?" Well, here's where it gets interesting. Non-clear bags are allowed, but they must be no larger than 5" x 8". That's about the size of a small clutch or a well-loved paperback novel. Think of it as a challenge to downsize your game-day essentials. It's like Marie Kondo for your event bag.

And here's a fun fact for you: Did you know that the clear bag policy isn't just about security? It's also a sneaky way to cut down on litter. Clear bags make it easier for recycling and waste management teams to sort through post-game debris. Talk about a win-win!

What Else Can I Bring?

Now, let's talk about the good stuff. You can still bring in your usual game-day essentials, like your phone, keys, and wallet. Just remember to keep them in your clear bag or to use a small clutch or pocket. And hey, if you're feeling fancy, you can even bring in a small bottle of water (20 oz or less) or an empty reusable water bottle to fill at one of the many water fountains.

But here's a heads-up: Leave your selfie sticks, laser pointers, and outside food and drinks at home. Rupp Arena has a strict 'no-no' list, and you don't want to be that fan who gets the stink eye from the usher.
