Bag Policy Wrigley Field 2023

Hey there, Cubs fans! Grab your coffee, let's chat about the bag policy at Wrigley Field for the 2023 season. You know how it is, they change things up every now and then, so let's get you up to speed.

What's New in 2023?

First things first, the big news: no more clear bags. I know, I know, you loved your clear bag, but hear me out. They're switching to a clear plastic bag no larger than 12" x 6" x 12". Think of it as a tiny, see-through duffel bag. Why the switch? Well, they're trying to speed up entry, and this should help.

Now, if you're thinking, "But what about my cute little purse?" Don't worry, they've got you covered. Non-clear bags are still allowed, as long as they're no larger than 6.5" x 4.5". Just remember, no backpacks, no purses larger than that, and no diaper bags (unless you've got a little one with you, of course).

What Can I Bring?

So, what can you bring? Let's start with the essentials. You can bring in your phone, your wallet, your keys. You know, the usual suspects. But here's where it gets fun. You can also bring in food and non-alcoholic drinks. Yes, you can pack a picnic! Just remember, no glass bottles or cans. Safety first, folks.

Now, let's talk about the no-no list. No weapons, no signs or banners, no noise-makers (that means you, vuvuzela guy). And, of course, no alcohol. You can buy it inside, but you can't bring it in. Oh, and leave your selfie sticks at home. Trust me, your arms will thank you.

What About Medication?

If you need to bring medication, that's totally cool. Just make sure it's in its original container, and you've got your ID with you. And if you need to bring in a bag for medical reasons, that's fine too. Just make sure it's no larger than 6.5" x 4.5".

What If I Forget?

Hey, it happens. If you show up at the gate and realize you've got a bag that doesn't make the cut, don't panic. They've got bag check stations set up. You can check your bag there, and pick it up on your way out. It's like a coat check, but for bags. Pretty nifty, huh?

So there you have it, folks. The lowdown on the 2023 Wrigley Field bag policy. Now you can enjoy the game without worrying about what you can and can't bring. Oh, and one more thing. Don't forget your sunscreen. That Wrigley Field sun can be a sneaky little thing. Catch you at the game!
