Autzen Stadium Bag Policy 2023

Game Day Essentials: Navigating Autzen Stadium's 2023 Bag Policy

Hey there, Duck fans! It's that time of year again when the crisp autumn air is filled with the scent of tailgate barbecues and the roar of the crowd at Autzen Stadium. But before you grab your team jersey and head out, let's chat about the bag policy for the 2023 season. Don't worry, it's not as daunting as trying to explain the rules of American football to a friend from abroad.

Bag or No Bag? That is the Question.

First things first, Autzen Stadium has adopted a clear bag policy for the 2023 season. This means no more lugging around that oversized purse or backpack that's been with you since your college days. The new policy is designed to make your game day experience smoother and safer, so let's embrace it!

Now, you might be wondering, "What kind of bags are allowed?" Well, here's a quick rundown:

• Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC and do not exceed 12" x 6" x 12".
• One-gallon clear plastic freezer bags.
• Small clutch bags or purses, approximately 4.5" x 6.5", with or without a handle or strap.

What's the Deal with the Clear Bag?

You might be thinking, "But I don't want to carry my stuff in a clear bag! I have secrets, you know." We get it, but hear us out. Clear bags are not only a security measure but also a practical one. They make it easier for stadium staff to check your belongings quickly, meaning less time waiting in line and more time cheering on the Ducks.

Plus, think of it as an opportunity to express your team spirit in a new way. You could get a clear bag with a fun design, or even decorate it yourself. It's like a blank canvas for your fandom. Just remember, no glitter or confetti – we don't want to make it rain sparkles at Autzen.

What Can't You Bring?

Now, let's talk about what can't make it into the stadium. Besides the obvious (weapons, alcohol, outside food and drink), here are a few things to leave at home:

• Bags that are not clear and do not fit the specified dimensions.
• Coolers, thermoses, and hard-sided containers.
• Large umbrellas – opt for a smaller, collapsible one instead.
• Strollers – Autzen Stadium is not stroller-friendly, so plan accordingly if you're bringing little ones.
