Texas A&m Clear Bag Policy 2022

Alright y'all, gather 'round. We've got some news that's gonna make your game day experience smoother than a cold beer on a hot Texas afternoon. You know how we love our football, our tailgating, and our good ol' Aggie spirit. Well, Texas A&M's got a little something to make sure all that fun stays safe and hassle-free - their clear bag policy!

What's the Scoop?

Imagine you're at the grocery store, and you've got your hands full with a couple of gallons of ice cream (because, you know, priorities). Now, you wouldn't want to juggle those with your wallet, keys, and a bag of chips, right? That's where clear bags come in. They make life easier, and that's exactly what Texas A&M's clear bag policy is all about.

Now, you might be thinking, "But I've got my favorite leather bag, or my lucky backpack. I don't wanna switch to clear plastic!" Well, hold your horses, partner. It's not about ruining your style, it's about keeping everyone safe and making your game day experience as smooth as a well-oiled Aggie machine.

So, What's Allowed?

First things first, let's talk about the bags. You can bring in a clear plastic bag that's 12" x 6" x 12" or smaller. Think of it like a gallon-sized Ziploc bag, but bigger and sturdier. You can also bring in a one-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (the kind you'd use for your leftovers).

Now, what can you put in these bags? Well, anything you'd usually carry in your pockets is fair game. That means your wallet, keys, phone, and even your sunglasses. You can also bring in a small clutch or purse, as long as it's not too big. Think of it like your mom's Sunday church bag - small and stylish, but not big enough to hide a secret stash of moon pies.

And here's where it gets fun - you can still bring in your Aggie gear! Banners, flags, and even those inflatable cowboy hats are all allowed. Just make sure they're not on a stick longer than 12 inches. You wouldn't want to poke someone's eye out with your excitement!

Why Should You Care?

Alright, so you might be thinking, "This all sounds great, but why should I care about this clear bag policy?" Well, let me tell you, it's all about safety, security, and a whole lot of Aggie pride.

Think about it - clear bags make it easier for security to do their job. They can see what's inside your bag without having to rummage through it. That means less time wasted and more time spent making sure everyone's having a good time. It's like having a helpful friend who's always got your back, making sure nothing goes awry at the game.

Plus, think about the last time you were at a crowded event. It's a bit of a free-for-all, right? Clear bags help keep things organized and make it easier for everyone to navigate through the crowds. It's like having a well-planned tailgate party, where everyone knows where to find the drinks and the snacks.

And let's not forget about the Aggie spirit! Texas A&M wants to make sure everyone feels safe and secure, so they can focus on cheering on their team and having a good time. The clear bag policy is just one way they're making sure your game day experience is nothing short of fantastic.

But What If I Forget?

Now, we've all been there. You're rushing out the door, and you realize you've forgotten something. Don't panic! If you show up at the game with a bag that's not clear, don't worry. You've still got options.

First, you can leave your bag at your car. If you're parked nearby, it's not a bad option. Just make sure you don't leave any valuables inside. You wouldn't want to come back to a broken window and a missing wallet.

If you can't leave your bag in your car, don't worry. Texas A&M has you covered. They've got bag check stations set up at each gate. You can check your bag for a small fee, and pick it up on your way out. It's like leaving your coat at the cloakroom at a fancy party. Just remember to pick it up before you leave!
