Pittsburgh Pirates Bag Policy 2023

Hey there, Pirates fans! Grab your coffee, 'cause we're about to chat about the latest on the Pittsburgh Pirates Bag Policy for the 2023 season. You know, the rules that'll help you breeze through security and get you to your seat faster than a Josh Bell homerun.

So, what's new for 2023?

Well, first things first, the Pirates have gone bagless! I know, I know, it's a bit of a shocker. But don't worry, it's not as scary as it sounds. It's all about safety and making sure everyone has a smooth game day experience.

Now, let's dive into the nitty-gritty. The Pirates are adopting a clear bag policy, similar to what you might see at other sports venues or concerts. It's all about making sure everyone feels safe and secure while enjoying the game.

Alright, so what bags are we talking about here?

Good question! The Pirates are allowing clear bags that are 12" x 6" x 12" or smaller. You know, like those clear backpacks you used to carry to school. Or, you can bring in a small clutch bag that's about the size of your hand. Think of it as a fancy way to carry your essentials.

But hold on, what if you've got little ones with you? No worries, diaper bags are still allowed, as long as they're not excessively large. The Pirates want to make sure you've got everything you need to keep your little sluggers happy and comfortable.

What about those essential game day items?

You're probably wondering, "What about my sunscreen, water bottles, or binoculars?" Don't fret, those are still allowed. But remember, they've got to fit in your clear bag or clutch. And water bottles need to be sealed and not exceed 20 oz.

Now, let's talk about those handy-dandy stadium seats you might have. You know, the ones that make tailgating a breeze. Those are still allowed, but they've got to be carried in separately from your clear bag or clutch.

What if I forget or just don't want to deal with a clear bag?

Hey, it happens. The Pirates have got you covered. They've got a Bag Check area where you can leave your non-approved bags. It's free, so you won't have to break the bank to enjoy the game.

But listen, the Pirates want to make sure you're aware of this new policy. So, they're asking you to check their website before you head to the game. It's the best way to stay up-to-date and avoid any last-minute hassles.

Anything else I should know?

Well, the Pirates are always looking to improve the fan experience. So, if you've got any questions or suggestions, they'd love to hear from you. You can reach out to them on their website or social media.

And hey, if you're still feeling a bit lost, don't stress. The Pirates have got signs and info at the gates to help guide you through the new policy. It's all about making sure you've got a smooth and enjoyable game day experience.
