Save Mart Center Clear Bag Policy

For thousands of fans each year, a night at the Save Mart Center is about the electric energy of a live concert or the roar of a championship basketball game. The experience is meant to be seamless, from the parking lot to your seat. That’s where the Clear Bag Policy comes in—a simple rule designed to make your entry faster, safer, and far less stressful. Instead of fumbling with a bulky purse or backpack at the security line, you can glide through with just the essentials, keeping the focus squarely on the event.

The core purpose of this policy is enhanced security and streamlined entry. By limiting what fans can bring to small, transparent bags, security personnel can quickly and clearly see inside. This drastically reduces long, frustrating delays at the gates. For you, it means spending less time in line and more time enjoying the show. It transforms a potential bottleneck into a smooth, efficient process, so the only wait you experience is for that post-game hot dog.

Picture this: you are heading to a packed concert on a Friday night. Under the old system, you might be holding a large tote bag, nervously wondering if it will be turned away. Now, imagine walking confidently to the security checkpoint with a clear clutch or a small wristlet. The security officer gives a quick nod, and you are through in under a minute. This is the everyday benefit—peace of mind—knowing you are prepared and compliant, turning a potential hassle into a non-issue.

These policies are not just about security; they also foster a better atmosphere. With fewer oversized items blocking aisles or cluttering seats, everyone has more room to move and cheer. Parents can keep their hands free to hold a child or a snack, while students can jump and dance without worrying about a heavy backpack. The result is a cleaner, more enjoyable experience for the entire community sharing the venue.

To get the most out of the Save Mart Center Clear Bag Policy, a simple plan goes a long way. Check the venue’s official website before you go for the exact dimensions allowed—typically a clear bag no larger than 12” x 6” x 12”. Invest in a small, clear clutch or wristlet for your phone, wallet, and lip balm. Alternatively, a gallon-sized clear plastic bag works perfectly for a spare jacket or snacks.

Finally, remember that medical and diaper bags are often exempt, but they will be thoroughly inspected. If you have a special need, contact Guest Services ahead of time. By embracing these simple tips, you ensure that your focus remains on the thrill of the game or the magic of the music, not on the logistics of getting through the door. Plan ahead, pack light, and enjoy the night.
