University Of Nebraska Lincoln Clear Bag Policy

Let’s be real: nobody loves waiting in a long line to get into a stadium. That’s why the University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s clear bag policy is a total game-changer. It has quickly become a fan favorite because it speeds up security checks big time. You’re not just getting in faster—you’re helping everyone around you do the same.

This policy matters because it prioritizes safety without killing the fun. For families, it means less stress keeping track of kids and gear. Instead of fumbling through a giant purse, you grab one clear tote, toss in your essentials, and you’re set. It’s also a win for the community, since visible bags make it much easier for staff to spot anything suspicious.

Imagine this: it’s game day, and you’re with friends at Memorial Stadium. You each have a simple clear backpack with water bottles, snacks, and a jacket. The line moves fast, and you’re cheering by kickoff. No drama, no delays. That’s the beauty of a policy that works for real life.

To make it work for you, grab a transparent bag that’s 12” x 6” x 12” or smaller—you can find them online or at the campus bookstore. Pack smart: skip the big makeup bags and use small zipper pouches inside your clear bag. This keeps you compliant and your stuff organized.

Think ahead for weather, too. Huskers faithful know Nebraska can switch from sun to rain in minutes. Tuck a clear poncho or a small umbrella into your bag. And don’t forget to check the official UNL policy online before you head out—yes, it changes slightly for different events.
