Michael Weatherly Wants Mark Harmon On Tony & Ziva

Ever found yourself binge-watching NCIS and wondering what it would be like if the dynamic duo, Tony DiNozzo and Ziva David, had their own spin-off? Well, you're not alone. Michael Weatherly, who played the charismatic Tony, has been dropping hints that he's all for it. Let's dive into the world of weather vanes, weather patterns, and a certain weathered actor who's got our attention.

Weatherly's Wish

Michael Weatherly, the man behind the smirk and the one-liners, has expressed his desire to see a Tony & Ziva show. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, he said, "I would love to do something with Cote de Pablo [Ziva David]. I think there's a lot of story there." Weatherly, who left NCIS in 2016, has kept the door open for a reunion, and fans are here for it.

Harmon's Involvement?

But here's the million-dollar question: would Mark Harmon, the face of NCIS as Gibbs, be involved? Weatherly thinks so. He told TV Insider, "I think Mark would be up for it. I think he'd be like, 'Yeah, let's do it!'" Harmon, who's been with the show since 2003, has shown no signs of slowing down, so who knows? Maybe Gibbs will make a cameo in a potential Tony & Ziva series.

Weatherly's Weather Obsession

You might be wondering, why the weather theme? Well, Michael Weatherly is a bit of a weather enthusiast. He's even named his production company Weatherly Productions. When asked about his fascination, he told People, "I've always been interested in weather patterns. I think it's fascinating how it affects our daily lives and our moods." So, maybe a Tony & Ziva show could be set in a weather station? The possibilities are endless.

Fun Fact: Weatherly's Weather Skills

Did you know Michael Weatherly can actually predict the weather? No, really. He's been known to forecast storms on set, much to the crew's amazement. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, he said, "I've predicted storms that have come in and surprised people." Maybe he should trade in his acting career for a weather forecasting one? Just kidding, we'd miss his one-liners too much.
