First Things First: What's with the Name?

Alright, let's tackle the elephant in the room. You might be thinking, "What's with the long, fancy name?" Well, here's the scoop. Temple is like our shorthand for a Jewish house of worship. Ahm is Hebrew for 'life,' and Yisrael means 'Israel.' So, it's like our little community saying, "Hey, we're all about life and Israel here!"

And the fun doesn't stop at the temple doors. We're out and about, too! From community service projects to cultural events, we're always finding new ways to connect with our neighbors and make Springfield an even better place to live.

Temple Beth Ahm Yisrael is all about inclusion. Whether you're Jewish by birth, by choice, or just curious, you're more than welcome to join us.

And hey, if you've got little ones, we've got them covered, too! Our religious school and preschool programs are designed to make learning fun and engaging. Plus, they'll make some awesome friends along the way.
