How Old Was Alan Alda When Mash Ended

So, you're wondering, "Hey, how old was Alan Alda when MASH wrapped up?" Well, grab a coffee, let's dive in!

First off, let's set the scene. MASH, that hilarious and heartwarming sitcom, ended its 11-season run in 1983. Now, picture Alan, our beloved Hawkeye Pierce, on that final day of shooting. What do you think? Silver fox? Sure, but how old?

Alright, let's do some math. Alan Alda was born on January 28, 1936. That makes him a Capricorn, by the way, if you're into that. Now, 1983 minus 1936... carry the one... divide by three... okay, okay, I'll do the math for you. Alan was 47 years old when MASH said its final "Goodbye."

But wait, you might be thinking, "47? That's not so old!" Well, remember, this was the '80s. People were still trying to figure out what a "personal computer" was. And Alan, he was already a seasoned actor, having started his career in the '60s. So, 47 was like, what, 60 in today's years?
