Is New York Or London Bigger

So, you're curious about which city is bigger, New York or London? Let's dive in, shall we?

First things first: Population

Alright, let's start with the most obvious - the number of people. As of 2021, New York City has around 8.4 million inhabitants, while London clocks in at about 8.9 million. So, London takes the crown by a smidge, but it's pretty close, yeah?

Size Matters... Right?

Now, let's talk area. London's got a bigger land area, about 1,572 square kilometers, compared to New York's 784 square kilometers. But here's the thing, London's population is more spread out, with a lower population density. New York, on the other hand, is like a sardine can, with people packed in tighter than a subway during rush hour.

So, if we're talking about how many people you can fit into a city, New York's the winner. It's like the city's playing a real-life game of Tetris with its inhabitants!

London's 32 boroughs cover around 1,579 square kilometers. So, in terms of area, New York's got London beat, hands down.

And the Winner Is...

Alright, so we've got London winning in terms of population and land area, but New York's got the edge when it comes to population density and total area including boroughs. So, who's the bigger city? Well, it depends on how you look at it, doesn't it?
