Mark Hamill: A Time Lord in Training?

First things first, let's talk about Mark Hamill's real-world age. As of 2023, he's 71 years young. But in the Star Wars universe, things get a bit... well, warped.

You see, the films don't follow a linear timeline. We jump around like a wampa on ice, from the prequels to the original trilogy, and now the sequels. So, let's grab our lightsabers and navigate this temporal maze together!

Luke Skywalker: From Farm Boy to Jedi Master

In A New Hope, Luke is 19. But when we catch up with him in The Force Awakens, he's 35. That's right, folks! Luke spent 16 years between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens. What was he up to? We'll never know, but let's hope he wasn't just farming moisture again.

Now, here's where it gets tricky. In The Last Jedi, Luke is 64. But remember, that's not the real Luke. It's a Force projection. The real Luke, back in the real world, was only 62. Mind. Blown.

Mark Hamill: The Aging Jedi

So, how old is Mark Hamill in the Star Wars timeline? Well, he's 22 in The Empire Strikes Back, 29 in Return of the Jedi, and 37 in The Force Awakens. But remember, those are just the ages we see on screen. Off-screen, Mark Hamill was 31, 35, and 64 respectively.

Now, here's a fun fact for you. In The Mandalorian, we see a flashback to Luke's past. The actor playing young Luke is 10 years old. Mark Hamill, at the time of filming, was 69. Talk about a time jump!
