How Old Is Tyler In Wednesday

Alright, gather 'round, folks. I've got a tale to spin about Wednesday Addams, her new Netflix series, and the age-old question: just how old is Tyler, her love interest? Now, I'm not one to spoil the fun, but let's dive in, shall we?

First things first: Wednesday's age

Before we get to Tyler, let's establish our baseline. Wednesday, our beloved gloomy girl, is eleven years old. Yes, you heard it right. She's a tween, not a teen. So, if you're doing the math, that makes her younger than your average middle schooler, not quite old enough to drive, and definitely not old enough to vote. Yet.

Now, about Tyler...

Tyler is Wednesday's love interest, a transfer student with a mysterious past and a heart of gold. He's played by the charming Hunter Doohan, who, at the time of filming, was in his mid-twenties. But here's where it gets interesting: his character's age is never explicitly stated in the series. It's like the writers wanted us to squirm, to speculate.

So, we're left to our own devices, to piece together clues like a bunch of amateur sleuths. And let me tell you, the internet has exploded with theories. Some say he's a senior, around 18. Others swear he's a college student, maybe 19 or 20. A few brave souls even suggest he's in his early 20s. But remember, folks, we're talking about a show where a talking cat is a main character. Anything's possible.

Let's get scientific

Alright, let's put on our detective hats and examine the evidence. First, we know Tyler's a senior. He's on the football team, and he's got that whole "senioritis" thing down pat. But that doesn't tell us much about his age. High school seniors can range from 17 to, well, who knows? Some kids take their time.

Next, let's consider Hunter Doohan's age. At the time of filming, he was 26. Now, I'm not saying he's playing a 26-year-old senior. That would be ridiculous. But it does give us a range. If Tyler's older than 17, but younger than 26, that narrows it down a bit.

But what about the timeline?

Wednesday takes place in the 1960s, which means Tyler's age is likely within the typical range for high school seniors of that era. But here's where it gets tricky: the show's timeline is a bit wonky. It's set in the '60s, but it's filmed in the 2020s. And let's not forget, Wednesday's world is a bit... off. So, who knows if high school ages were the same back then?

So, how old is Tyler?

Alright, let's make an educated guess. Based on the evidence, I'd say Tyler is probably around 18 or 19. He's a senior, but he's not that old. Right? Right? Okay, maybe he's 20. But let's not go crazy here.

But here's the thing: it doesn't really matter. Tyler's age isn't the point. The point is, he's a love interest for Wednesday, and that's a big deal. It's a sign of growth, of change. And isn't that what we all want? To see our favorite characters evolve, to learn and grow and... well, maybe find love along the way.

So, there you have it. The great Tyler age mystery, solved. Or is it? Who knows? Maybe the writers will give us a clue in season two. Until then, let's just enjoy the show and appreciate the mystery. After all, it's not every day we get to see Wednesday Addams with a crush. And isn't that what really matters?
