What Is Jay Blades Doing Now?

Hey there, curious minds! You might be wondering, "What's Jay Blades up to these days?" Well, grab a cuppa, get comfy, and let's dish the deets!

Master of Craft: Jay's New Show

First things first, our favorite presenter and furniture whiz is back with a bang! If you loved "The Repair Shop," you're in for a treat. Jay's newest show, "Jay Blades: Master of Craft," is like a buffet of creativity. He's traveling the UK, meeting incredible artisans, and learning their unique crafts. From glassblowing to pottery, it's like a masterclass in awesome!

But here's the twist: Jay's not just watching and learning. Oh no, he's rolling up his sleeves and having a go himself! Imagine Jay trying to make a perfect vase or a stunning piece of jewelry. It's like watching a baby giraffe trying to walk - a bit wobbly at first, but oh-so-entertaining!

Jay's Crafty Challenge

And get this, folks! Jay's not just content with learning and making a mess (well, maybe a little). He's set himself a challenge. He's going to create a unique piece of art using all the skills he's picked up. It's like a crafty version of "The Apprentice," but with less boardroom drama and more sawdust.

Spreading the Word: Jay's Campaigns

When Jay's not busy crafting up a storm, he's using his platform to spread some serious positivity. He's been a champion for the "Great British Spring Clean," encouraging us all to tidy up our green spaces. And let's not forget his work with the Prince's Trust, helping young people turn their lives around. Jay's like a real-life superhero, but instead of a cape, he's got a toolbelt!

Parenthood's a whole new adventure, and Jay's embracing it with his usual enthusiasm. He's even started a little series on Instagram, "Dad Life with Jay," giving us a peek into his new world. Spoiler alert: it involves a lot of coffee and a fair amount of chaos!

Jay's Secret Skill: Cooking?

But here's something you might not know. Jay's been trying his hand at another new skill - cooking! Yes, you heard it here first. Our man's been whipping up a storm in the kitchen. His Instagram stories are filled with culinary creations, from curries to cakes. We're not sure if it's delicious or a disaster, but one thing's for sure - it's entertaining!
